A made-to-measure or bespoke shirt has details chosen deliberately, and a favourite ready-to-wear shirt deserves the same care. Tailored finishing gives the collar, cuffs and body individual attention, for the way you wear them.

On dark shirts, note any existing shine or areas where the surface looks different.
Point out pinching, unwanted folds or a collar that no longer sits as you expect.
Note any bubbling or changes around fused areas, and any earlier finishing concern.

Which shirts need tailored finishing?

Dark, vibrant and opaque colours, made-to-measure and bespoke shirts, or just plain favourites you want kept exactly as they are. Note each one on your order, so it is set aside for tailored finishing before cleaning begins.

Can finishing change the fit of a shirt?

No. Finishing shapes the fabric; it does not change the cut. Long sleeves or a loose body are an alteration, fitted in our on-site fitting room.
