Before You Bring It In

A Little History Helps

A duvet and an inherited lace tablecloth receive different care. Note whether each piece is regular household linen, a seasonal item or an heirloom, so it goes to the process that suits it.

For bedding, note the size, filling information and any separate cover or matching pieces.
For table linens, point out food or drink marks and anything already applied at home.
For antique lace or crochet, point out weak areas, previous repairs and loose edges.

Can I bring matching pieces together?

Yes. Note which pieces form a set and keep them together in one bag. Each is inspected on its own, since a napkin and its tablecloth rarely carry the same marks or the same wear.

How do I bring in a duvet or bulky bedding?

Bag each item and note its size, its filling and any date you need it back. Bring it to our counter at 3309 Yonge Street, or add it to a pickup request. For bulky items on a route day, please allow us to confirm.

Table Linens

When it comes to the ultimate culinary experience, a beautifully presented dinner table is essential. Glenforest specializes in the care of fine tablecloths, delicate antique lace and crochet textiles, to keep treasured linens looking bright and smooth.

Note an item's age, delicate details and any marks, and include the care label or any information you have about the material. For a fresh spill on table linen, use the Reserve stain remover spray with the soft spotting brush, testing a hidden corner first.
